Find a provider

Our Immediate Care Centers provide exactly what their name implies: prompt medical treatment for injuries and illnesses that don't involve serious medical emergencies.

There are three convenient locations: Glynn Immediate Care Center, Glynco Immediate Care Center and St. Simons Immediate Care Center.

Minor injuries and illnesses we treat

  • Minor injuries, like sprains, cuts, burns, bee stings, sunburns and foreign objects in the eye, as well as all of life's bumps, bruises and pains that aren't life-threatening but need prompt attention
  • Minor illnesses and their symptoms, like cold and flu, respiratory infections, urinary tract infections, fever, sore throat, ear ache, upset stomach, and allergies

We also offer:

  • On-site diagnostics, including imaging and laboratory services, to expedite patient treatment
  • Occupational medicine, including employer screenings and routine physical examinations

Caring, expert medical staff

Our Immediate Care Centers are staffed by providers trained in urgent care, internal medicine and family medicine. They are supported by nurses, imaging technologists and medical assistants who pride themselves on providing efficient, personable service — which goes a long way when you're under the weather.

When should I visit an Immediate Care Center?

In many cases, our Immediate Care Centers are faster and less expensive than an emergency room. It's important to know when they're most appropriate, and when you truly need emergency care.

If you need urgent medical treatment for a non-life-threatening condition and can't see your usual primary care physician — because you don't have one, they don't have any appointments, or it's after hours or a holiday — an Immediate Care Center is a good choice.

If, however, you (or a family member) experience any of the following symptoms, you should go to the nearest emergency room or call 911:

  • Chest pain
  • Dislocation of shoulder, hip, or knee
  • High fever in an infant (101 degrees or higher in a baby under 3 months)
  • Persistent or severe bleeding
  • Persistent vomiting or diarrhea
  • Severe allergic reaction
  • Stroke symptoms, like weakness on one side of your body, difficulty speaking and understanding, and loss of consciousness
  • Sudden, severe abdominal pain

No, it is not. Our team members will do their best to see when you arrive, but sicker patients may be seen first.

What does this service cost?

Nothing. It is absolutely free for patients.

Can I use save your spot even if I don't have insurance? What about medicare or medicaid?

Save your spot is free for everyone. It does not matter what insurance you have or whether you have any.

When I arrive, will I see a provider right away?

You will be seen by a health care professional who will evaluate your condition and decide on the best course of action for you. You may be seen by a nurse, physician, physician assistant or some other combination of health care professionals.

What if I make a reservation, and then start feeling much worse?

If you are feeling worse, do NOT wait for your reservation. Go to the nearest Emergency Room immediately. If you feel that your condition is life-threatening, call 911 right away.

There is a 15 minute grace period. If you are later than that time frame, you may lose your spot in line.

I made a reservation, but now I can't get there on time. Can I adjust my time?

Simply go online and make a new reservation. The system will automatically cancel your old one.

I don't need to go to the Immediate Care Center anymore. How do I cancel my reservation?

Call the location where you made your reservation and tell them that you are canceling your save your spot reservation.

What is online check-in?

Save your spot is a new system that may decrease the time your family spends waiting at our Immediate Care Centers.

How does save your spot work?

You select a time of your choice to let our staff know you’re coming. This allows you or your loved one to wait in the comfort of your home until your check-in time.

When should I arrive for my confirmed time?

Please arrive no earlier than 30 minutes before your reservation time. We will not be able to see you before your reserved time.

Are walk-ins still allowed without checking in?

Yes! Walk-ins are always welcome.

Can I make one reservation for multiple people?

No. We can only see one patient per time slot. If more than one person needs to be seen, please reserve additional slots.

If I'm a new patient, do I need to provide more information?

Yes, please bring a valid photo ID and your insurance card (if applicable) and arrive early to complete any necessary paperwork. If you are able to bring your records from any previous primary care providers, please do. If not, we will help facilitate that process when you arrive.

My insurance requires prior authorization. Can I still use save your spot?

We recommend working with your insurance company regarding any possible prior authorization requirements before using save your spot.
