Find a provider

Cancer can happen to anyone, anywhere. If you’re diagnosed with this disease, you deserve access to the highest levels of expertise and services close to where you live. That’s just what you’ll find at the Southeast Georgia Health System Cancer Care Centers on our Brunswick and Camden campuses.

Highly trained oncologists, state-of-the-art treatment and extensive support services are just some of the advantages that set our cancer care apart.

Highly trained oncologists and other cancer specialists

The board-certified oncologists and physicians at our Cancer Care Centers represent every major specialty in oncology. Our team includes medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, surgical oncologists and cancer pathologists. These experts are backed by highly trained nurses, radiation therapists, physicists and other staff who specialize in cancer care.

Our providers understand that no two people experience cancer in the same way, and they will tailor the care they provide to your unique needs. They’ll also take the time to make sure you fully understand the risks and benefits of each option, so you can make informed decisions about your care.

State-of-the-art cancer treatments

Our team has access to some of the most advanced technology in Georgia. One example on our Brunswick Campus is our CyberKnife® M6 Robotic Radiosurgery System, which targets cancer without harming healthy tissue. Other treatments we offer include chemotherapy, radiation therapy, immunotherapy and surgery.

We also offer a full range of diagnostic tests and procedures, including computed tomography (CT) scans, positron emission tomography (PET) scans and robotic-assisted Ion bronchoscopy for detecting lung cancer.

Evidence-based cancer care

Commission on Cancer Accredited ProgramOur experts follow evidence-based protocols proven to treat cancer. We’re proud of the Commission on Cancer (CoC) accreditation our Brunswick Campus earned from the American College of Surgeons. As part of our CoC accreditation, we have developed cancer-related programs designed to improve the quality of patient care. These programs focus on areas such as cancer prevention and helping people stay healthy during their survivorship years.

A team approach to cancer treatment

Our cancer doctors don’t work alone. A tumor board, consisting of experts from various oncology and medical specialties, meets regularly to discuss each case. This ensures that every patient receives the right plan of action to treat their cancer.

Extensive cancer support services

In addition to treating cancer, our team will also provide you with the support you need to feel cared for during every step of your journey. You and your family will be connected with the resources you need, whether that’s rides to the hospital, a cancer support group, a place to stay during treatment or other assistance through our patient resource room.

A focus on awareness and prevention

Our team encourages cancer screenings because we know that cancer is often easier to beat with early detection.
