Providing students the opportunity to observe the daily professional duties and responsibilities of nurses can be a valuable educational experience. This Summer, Southeast Georgia Health System, partnered with College of Coastal Georgia, offers a unique four-day Nurse Camp experience, allowing students in grades 11 and 12 to shadow nurse staff, be introduced to clinical care in both simulation and real-life settings and develop a better understanding of health care career opportunities. We provide a positive, safe learning environment where students are always under the direct visual supervision of a nurse faculty from College of Coastal Georgia and hands-on nurses from Southeast Georgia Health System.
