An ARTrageous bra blue in color almost resembling bird feathers fanned outThe ARTrageous Bras fundraiser at Southeast Georgia Health System kicked off its annual campaign and once again has a variety of eccentric and creative bra entries, designed by Health System team members and community individuals and businesses. The bras are on display in the Horton Gallery on the Brunswick Campus and the Camden Campus art gallery.
The first stage of the fundraiser includes collecting votes, at $1 each, from Oct. 1-31, to determine the top 10 bras. The fundraiser concludes on Friday, Nov. 4,. with the ARTrageous Bras reception and live auction, consisting of the top 10 bras, and the silent auction for the remaining bras. This lively event, which is open to the community, will be held 6-7:30 p.m. at the Historic Ritz Theatre, 1530 Newcastle Street, in historic downtown Brunswick. Proceeds from the ARTrageous Bras fundraiser benefit the Health System cancer care programs.
“ARTrageous is an entertaining and unique way to increase breast cancer awareness, as well as partner with our communities,” says Krista Robitz, director, Development, Southeast Georgia Health System Foundation. “The amazing bras submitted this year will once again provide a fierce, yet friendly voting competition.”

Votes can be placed in person at the Brunswick and Camden campuses Guest Services desks, and electronically on the Health System website,
“Rankings change daily with sometimes the difference between bras being three, five or 10 votes,” adds Robitz. “So a bra that’s not currently in the top 10 could easily become so with the investment of just a few dollars!”
