Health System Announces Recent Additions, Promotions, Changing Roles At Brunswick Campus and CHSI

New Team Members

Pamela Milstead, RN, MSN, CNOR, manager of Inpatient Services for the Brunswick Campus. Milstead has 30 years of nursing experience with 28 of those years in surgical services and was most recently the director of Surgical Services at Central Carolina Hospital in Sanford, NC.
Tom Remy, RN, MBA, director of Surgical Services for the Brunswick Campus. Remy has 19 years of health care management experience and was most recently a senior consultant with The Compass Group, Inc., in Cincinnati, Ohio, that provided health care consulting and interim management for health care executives.
Thomas Scott, manager of Environmental Services for the Brunswick Campus. Scott comes to the Health System with 22 years of experience and was most recently senior operations manager at the University of Virginia Medical Center in Charlottesville, Virginia.
Deborah, Vandal, RNC, MS, manager of Patient Care Services for the Miriam & Hugh Nunnally Maternity Care Center on the Brunswick Campus. Vandal has 34 years of nursing experience and most recently was clinical coordinator in the Labor and Delivery Unit at HCA Sunrise Hospital & Medical Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Promotions

Lisa Dickerson, RN, BSN, MBA, formerly a team coordinator on 5 Medical on the Brunswick Campus, is now manager of 5 Medical. Dickerson has been with Health System for nine years and recently graduated from the Brenau University Health Care Management Program at the Health System.
Kristin Doll, MBA, formerly the manager of Volunteer Services at the Brunswick Campus, has been promoted to the Director of Volunteers Services for the Health System. She now oversees all volunteer services for the entire Health System.
Toika Hamby, RN, formerly a case manager in Resource Management and a nurse in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit, is now manager of patient flow in the Admissions Department. Hamby has been with the Health System for 10 years.

New Roles

Susan Bates, formerly the director of Public Relations, was named the director of Health Promotion, Wellness & Community Outreach. Bates has been with the Health System for 19 years.
Julie Kroscavage, formerly the practice manager responsible for the operations of the Community Care Center, Endocrinology & Diabetes Care Center, and the Infectious Disease Care Center, was named the manager of revenue integrity with Cooperative Healthcare Services, Inc. a strategic affiliate of Southeast Georgia Health System. Kroscavage has been with the Health System for seven years.
