Come join the fun! The
Southeast Georgia Health System Foundation is seeking teen and adult volunteers for its
Bridge Run. The event takes place at the foot of the Sidney Lanier Bridge on Friday,
Feb. 17, and Saturday, Feb. 18.
The annual Bridge Run benefits the Health System’s
cancer and
cardiac care programs. After a two-year hiatus due to COVID-19, a record number of
runners, walkers and spectators are expected to be in attendance this year.
Volunteering at the event is a great way to meet community members who
support the care provided at the Health System and…no running is
required. A wide variety of volunteer opportunities and shifts are available.
All volunteers will receive a Bridge Run volunteer ball cap as well as
a parking pass to park in the reserved volunteer parking area.
Volunteer application forms are due no later than Tuesday, Feb. 14, and
can be found at the-bridge-run.org. A meeting for registered volunteers will be held Wednesday, Feb. 15 at
5:30 p.m. on the
Brunswick Campus in the Linda S. Pinson Conference Center. For more information, please
contact Kristin Doll, CAVS, CDVS, director, Volunteer Services at 912-466-1071
or via email at
volunteers@sghs.org.
