September 28, 2022 – Southeast Georgia Health System leadership continues
to closely monitor Hurricane Ian and is committed to meeting the health
care needs of the communities it serves. As such,
the Brunswick and Camden Campus hospitals will remain open throughout Hurricane Ian and continue to care for inpatients, including
maternity patients, as well as perform scheduled elective surgeries. The
Emergency Care Centers will also remain open, along with most of our outpatient
services, such as, infusion and chemotherapy, dialysis, rehabilitation
services, radiology and imaging services, and outpatient lab services.
Glynco Immediate Care Center, located near the I-95 exit 38, will remain
open as weather permits. St. Simons and Glynn Immediate Care Centers will
be closed Thursday and Friday, Sept. 29-30.
Southeast Georgia Physician Associates practices in Glynn and McIntosh
counties and all physician practices and offices, including the Outpatient
Rehabilitation Care Center, located on St. Simons Island, will be will
be closed Thursday and Friday, Sept. 29-30. Patients will be contacted
to reschedule appointments.
The Brunswick Campus Sleep Management Center will be closed Thursday, Sept.
29, and will reopen on Friday, Sept. 30.
Health System services located on the Camden Campus, including Southeast
Georgia Physician Associates practices, will remain open.
Brunswick and Camden Campus COVID-19 vaccine clinics will be closed tomorrow,
Sept. 29 and Friday, Sept. 30.
The Health System will stay in communication with the Glynn County Emergency
Management Agency to monitor weather and revise Health System services
as necessary. As new information becomes available or if hospital services
change, updates will be posted on the Health System’s website,

their county emergency management agency shelter locations.
