Southeast Georgia Health System has appointed Stephanie Moseley Stark, DBA, as vice president of Service
Excellence, effective July 25, 2022. In addition to addressing service
excellence throughout the Health System, Stark’s responsibilities
will include staff development and performance improvement.
“A transformational leader who understands the importance of organizational
culture in achieving strategic goals, Stephanie has significant experience
in developing successful patient and employee service excellence programs
that engage employees and ensure the consistent delivery of patient-centered
care,” said
Scott Raynes, MBA, MA, president and chief executive officer, Southeast Georgia Health System.
Raynes added, “Service excellence, leadership and team member development
are pivotal to the success of our Health System as is team member engagement
and retention. We look forward to Stephanie’s contributions and
her expertise as we continue to focus on improving our Health System’s
culture and delivering high quality health care.”
Prior to being promoted to chief learning officer at Baptist Memorial Health
Care Corporation in Memphis, Tennessee, Stark served as system director,
Customer Experience & Center for Education and Organizational Development.
A dedicated educator with a proven track record of developing educational
programs that bolster learning and yield impressive results, Stark has
held an adjunct professor position at Baptist College of Health Sciences
since 2013. Her leadership roles have also included executive director,
Service Excellence; director, Service Coaching; and manager, Strategic
& Quality Learning, at WellStar Health System in Marietta, Georgia.
Stark earned her Doctor of Business Administration in Human Resource Management
at Capella University in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and a Masters of Business
Administration at Regis University in Denver, Colorado. Her professional
affiliation memberships include the American College of Healthcare Executives
and Senior Profession Human Resources. She is also a TWI Institute certified trainer.
