The
Southeast Georgia Health System Camden Campus welcomed its 2022 New Year’s baby on Monday, Jan. 3, 2022. Skylar
Roberts and Jackson Bower set eyes on their adorable daughter, Graceyn
Colleen Bower, for the first time at 2:47 p.m. Despite having a due date
in mid-January, little Graceyn arrived just in time to earn the recognition
of being the first baby born at the Health System’s
Camden Campus Maternity Care Center in 2022.
Graceyn weighed in at 7 pounds 4 ounces and measured 19 inches. She was
delivered via cesarean section by
Jonathan Egly, M.D., board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist,
Southeast Georgia Physician Associates-Obstetrics & Gynecology. A Navy family, Roberts and Bower moved from their Colorado hometown to
Kings Bay Navy Base three years ago and are thrilled to begin growing
their family in Kingsland, Ga. Graceyn is their first child.
To congratulate their first baby of 2022, Camden Campus Maternity Care
Center presented the family with a basket filled with gifts and baby care
necessities from the Health System’s Volunteer Services Gift Shop.
