Southeast Georgia Health System Offers Breastfeeding Support Group

Southeast Georgia Health System Maternity Care Services is offering a “pop up” breastfeeding support group, cleverly titled “Milky Weigh,” on Tuesday, May 3, 10:30-11:30 a.m.

During the meeting, lactating mothers will have an opportunity to ask questions and share breastfeeding concerns with on-site lactation consultants to gain knowledge for their breastfeeding journey. Baby weight checks and appointment scheduling for future outpatient lactation consults will also be available.

The “Milky Weigh” breastfeeding support group will meet in the Coolidge Lactation Resource Center located inside the Miriam & Hugh Nunnally Maternity Care Center on the Health System’s Brunswick Campus, 2415 Parkwood Drive.
