As with anything new, people have questions. However, sometimes it is hard
to decipher the difference between myth and truth. Understanding the facts
about COVID-19 and the steps people can take to eradicate it are equally
important. To help keep the community informed, Southeast Georgia Health
System will have an “Ask a Doctor” booth at this year’s
Community Health & Wellness Fair. The booth will be set up next to
the COVID-19 vaccine booth, where anyone age 12 and older is eligible
to receive a free Pfizer vaccine.
The Health System is committed to keeping our communities healthy and safe
and invites everyone to participate in its free Community Health &
Wellness Fair on Saturday, July 24, 9 a.m.-1 p.m., at Brunswick High School.
Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about the prevention and treatment
of common chronic illnesses, participate in free and low-cost health screenings,
and much more. For everyone’s protection, social distancing protocols
will be implemented and face masks must be worn.
