January 1, 2021–While many families were busy on New Year’s
Day celebrating the end of 2020 or packing up Christmas decorations, the
Kicklighter family was celebrating the addition of a new baby girl to
their family. Weighing in at exactly 8 pounds and measuring 20.5 inches
long, Sophiann Celine Kicklighter made her debut a week early at 11:16
a.m. on Friday, Jan. 1, earning her the prestigious recognition of being
the Southeast Georgia Health System
Brunswick Campus New Year’s Day baby.
Sophiann is the second child for proud parents Caleb Kicklighter and Sheyann
Anderson-Kicklighter of Nahunta. She was delivered by Mitchell V. Brock,
M.D., at the Health System’s
Miriam & Hugh Nunnally Maternity Care Center. Brock is a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist with Southeast
Georgia Physician Associates-Obstetrics & Gynecology.
To welcome the New Year’s Day baby, the family was presented with
a basket filled with gifts and baby care necessities from the Health System’s
Volunteer Services Gift Shop.
