ST. MARYS, Georgia: January 5, 2021 – The Southeast Georgia Health
System Camden Campus welcomed its 2021 New Year’s Day baby on Jan.
1, 2021. Elizabeth and Robert Roberts set eyes on their adorable son,
Watson Roberts, for the first time at 12:05 a.m. New Year’s Day.
Despite having a due date in late December, little Watson held out for
the new year, winning the recognition of being the first baby born at
the Health System’s
Camden Campus Maternity Care Center in 2021.
Watson weighed in at 8 pounds 6 ounces and measured 20.5 inches. He was
delivered by Michelle Y. Perry, M.D., obstetrician and gynecologist, Women
of Camden-Advanced OB/GYN. Ohio natives, the Roberts continue to grow
their family in Kingsland, Georgia. Watson is their fourth child but the
first in which Roberts enjoyed watching the ball drop countdown during
her delivery.
To congratulate their first baby of 2021,
Camden Campus Maternity Care Center presented the family with a basket filled with gifts and baby care necessities
from the Health System’s
Volunteer Services Gift Shop.
