Christen Morris, BSN, R.N.
Very early in my life, I knew I wanted to pursue a nursing career. My grandfather’s
illness and my grandmother’s ability to care for him was the major
influence on that decision. Being part of a patient’s care during
an illness and providing reassurance and assistance to the patient and
their family is a privilege. From my own personal experience, I know how
important it is to provide compassion, empathy and quality care to a patient
and the patient’s family at this critical time in their lives. I
always knew I wanted to pay it forward and becoming a nurse gives me the
ability and opportunity to do this.
Since beginning my career as a nurse, I’ve been fortunate to have
worked in several health systems in Georgia and in different fields of
nursing. I feel blessed and honored to work at Southeast Georgia Health
System with some of the most gifted and talented physicians and nurses
in the health care industry. We work together, as a team, to provide exceptional
quality of care for our patients and their families. As a team, we strive
to provide this type of care on a daily basis. I’m proud to be a
part of this team, and I’m dedicated to making Southeast Georgia
Health System an amazing environment for healing.
