Dec. 10, 2019 – Giving presents are a Christmas tradition that many
people choose to observe. This year, in lieu of exchanging holiday gifts
with one another, the Southeast Georgia Health System nursing leadership
team choose to adopt two families from Glynn Community Crisis Center.
“After hearing that many families still needed to be sponsored, I
brought the idea back to our nursing leadership team,” says Glenn
Gann, R.N., MSN, director, Emergency Care Center, Brunswick Campus. “Holidays
can be stressful and we hope our donations can bring joy to these families.”
Glynn Community Crisis Center is dedicated to providing comprehensive services
to victims of domestic violence and their children. The annual Secret
Santa Christmas program benefits these victims and their children.
“We would like to do this every year, as giving forward captures
the spirit of the holiday season,” expresses Gann.
