Topic for Lunch and Learn
May 7, 2018 – Given the emotional and financial toll that Alzheimer’s
disease can cause for patients, family members and caregivers, it’s
critical to understand the legal and financial options available as early
as possible following a diagnosis. If you or someone you know is affected
by Alzheimer's disease or dementia, the time for legal and financial
planning is now.
Southeast Georgia Health System and the Alzheimer’s Association will
host a “Legal & Financial Planning for Alzheimer's Care”
Lunch and Learn on Tuesday, May 15, 12-1 p.m. The presentation will be
held at the Health System in the Linda S. Pinson Conference Center and
is for anyone who would like to know more about legal and financial issues
to consider and how to put plans in place.
Family, friends and caregivers of people with memory problems are all welcome.
There is no cost to attend and lunch is sponsored by Gulfstream. Richard
Barid, elder-law attorney at Smith Barid, LLC, will be the guest speaker.
Southeast Georgia Health System is located at 2415 Parkwood Drive, Brunswick.
