Clean Your Plate Cooking Classes Teach Nutrition For A Lifetime of Good Health
May 3, 2018 – What a woman eats and drinks during her pregnancy affects
more than just her baby’s health. It can impact her own health for
decades to come. So how do moms choose a healthy diet at a time when they’re
experiencing crazy cravings, always hungry, or when nothing at all sounds
good? Clean Your Plate: Healthy Living In Pregnancy is a series of hands-on
cooking classes offered by Clean Your Plate Rx and Morrison Healthcare
to promote balanced nutrition, portion control
and
healthy snacks during pregnancy.
Healthy Living In Pregnancy class discussions will be led by a chef, dietitians
and
physicians to help promote and demonstrate how attendees can make healthy
eating and living part of their
every day
life. The series of three classes will be held 6-7:30 p.m. at Golden Isles
Career Academy, located at 4404 Glynco Parkway in Brunswick, on Thursday
evenings, June 21, July 19 and August 16. The
one time
fee of $15 per person, plus $2.89 service fee for event registration,
includes all three classes.
Class size is limited and registration is required. Registration can be
completed online at
