Jan.8, 2018 – Weighing in at six pounds, seven ounces and measuring
20.5 inches, Kelsey Isabella Miss Canché made her debut at 9:52
a.m. on Monday, Jan. 1, earning her recognition as the Southeast Georgia
Health System New Year’s Day baby.
Kelsey is the first child for proud parents Mariana Canché and Oscar
Miss Romero of Bunswick. Her middle name, Isabella, is in honor of her
paternal grandmother.
The precious baby girl was a bit of a New Year’s Day surprise as
she wasn’t due until Jan. 7. She was delivered by Mitchell V. Brock,
M.D., at the Miriam & Hugh Nunnally Maternity Care Center. Brock is
a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist with Southeast Georgia
Physician Associates-Obstetrics & Gynecology, a strategic affiliate
of the Health System.
To welcome the New Year’s Day baby, the family was presented with
a basket filled with gifts and baby care necessities from the Health System’s
Auxiliary Gift Shop.
