January 9, 2018 – Are you frequently short of breath, especially
when you exercise? Do you have a cough that won’t go away? These
are a few of the symptoms of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD).
The fourth leading cause of death in the United States, COPD has no cure;
however, you can do many things to slow its progression and live a longer,
higher-quality life.
Join us on Tuesday, Jan. 23, as
Herman Levy, M.D.,
pulmonologist
with
Southeast Georgia Physician Associates-Pulmonary Medicine, presents “Long-Term Effects of COPD.” The lecture will offer
important information on living with COPD, treatment and medication options,
along with a few exercise tips.
The free lecture will take place 12-1 p.m. at Southeast Georgia Health
System Camden Campus in the Conference Center, Room A, 2000 Dan Proctor
Drive in St. Marys.
A light lunch will be served; seating is limited and reservations are recommended
but walk-ins are welcome. To learn more about the free lecture or to reserve
