Heart disease is the leading cause of death for both men and women. While
there are some risk factors you cannot change, such as your genetics or
age, implementing healthier habits today is an essential key to preventing
heart problems in the future.
To help keep your heart healthy, join us on Wednesday, Feb. 28, as
Matthew E. Certain, M.D., interventional cardiologist and vice chief, Department of Medicine, Southeast
Georgia Health System, Brunswick Campus, presents “Heart Health:
How to Keep Your Heart Ticking.” The presentation will offer important
information on how to reduce your risks for heart disease, tips for a
healthier lifestyle and more.
The Lunch and Learn For Your Health lecture will be held at the Golden
Isles YMCA from 12 to 1 p.m., and lunch will be provided by A Moveable
Feast at no charge to attendees. A YMCA membership is not required to
attend; the Lunch and Learn is open to the public.
The Lunch and Learn For Your Health series takes place at the Golden Isles
YMCA located at 144 Scranton Connector, Brunswick. Seating is limited
and pre-registration is required by calling the YMCA at 912-265-4100.
