Dec. 18, 2018 – Brunswick High School’s Key Club exemplified
its mission of a student-led organization by offering members an opportunity
to collect and donate teddy bears to Southeast Georgia Health System for
pediatric patients.
On Friday, Dec. 7, representatives from the Key Club presented several
boxes of bears to Anna Fowler, M.S., CCLS, Certified Child Life Specialist,
Southeast Georgia Health System. “Snuggling with a new adorable,
soft teddy bear helps children feel comforted and safe when they aren’t
feeling well,” says Fowler. “We are very thankful to the Brunswick
High School Key Club for their generosity and compassion towards our young
patients.”
The Southeast Georgia Health System mission of providing safe, quality
and cost-effective care to meet the health care needs of the people and
communities it serves is strengthened by the generosity of donor’s
philanthropic gifts. Established in 1994, the Southeast Georgia Health
System Foundation is the fundraising and resource development organization
for the Health System. For more information about the Foundation call
