April 5, 2018 – Jeanne Kelly of Kingsland was recently named Volunteer
of the Quarter by the Southeast Georgia Health System Camden Campus Auxiliary.
Volunteering since December of 2015, Kelly volunteers every Thursday and
serves as the Camden Campus Auxiliary Gift Shop treasurer. She says, “When
I moved to Kingsland in 2015, before I found my job and before I found
my church, I found the volunteer program at the hospital. I’m so
glad that I did! It has provided me the opportunity to give back to our
community, develop lasting friendships and utilize my skills as an accountant.
My volunteer role is behind-the-scenes, so I very much appreciate being
recognized by my fellow volunteers for my volunteer work.”
In addition to the Health System, Kelly volunteers with the Alzheimer’s
Association, Southeast Community Church and Stephen Ministries. She also
keeps busy with her daughter, seven grandsons and two great-grandchildren.
More than 300 volunteers generously share their time and talents to assist
patients, visitors, and team members at the Southeast Georgia Health System
Brunswick and Camden campuses, as well as the Senior Care Centers in Brunswick
and St. Marys. To learn more about volunteer opportunities, contact Kristin
