March 3, 2017 – Do you suffer from a stuffy nose that makes breathing
difficult or that causes facial pain or pressure? Did you know that more
than 37 million Americans suffer from at least one episode of acute sinusitis
each year? The symptoms
for
acute sinusitis include facial pain and/or pressure, nasal obstruction,
nasal discharge, and a decreased sense of smell. In addition, people who
suffer from sinusitis may possibly experience other symptoms, such as
a fever, bad breath, fatigue, dental pain or a cough.
On Wednesday, March 29, Sherman Stevenson, M.D., board-certified otolaryngologist
and
head and neck surgeon with Southeast Georgia Physician Associates-Ear,
Nose & Throat, will present “
Breathe
Easy: Coping with Sinusitis.” The Lunch and Learn For Your Health
lecture will be held at the Golden Isles YMCA from 12 to 1 p.m., and lunch
will be provided at no charge to attendees.
The lecture will offer important information on sinus infections, homeopathic
preventive measures
and
