BRUNSWICK, Georgia: Dec. 22, 2010– Southeast Georgia Health System
is pleased to welcome board-certified family medicine physician Eric Taylor,
M.D. Taylor is joining the newly-opened Camden Family Medicine Center
in Kingsland, Ga.
He earned a bachelor’s degree in biology from Oakwood College in
Huntsville, Ala., before going on to earn his medical degree from the
Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. Taylor completed his residency
at St. Marys Family Practice Residency Program in Milwaukee while working
as an urgent care physician in his free time. He then joined Gordon Urgent
Care and Gordon Family Practice, both located in Calhoun, Ga. Most recently,
Taylor was a family medicine physician with Affordable Health Care in Rome, Ga.
Taylor, who is board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine,
is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the Georgia
Academy of Family Physicians. In addition to his practice experience,
he is an active volunteer. Taylor worked as a volunteer member of the
American Red Cross Disaster Action Team and First Aid Corps and has volunteered
as a physician in Madagascar and at mission hospitals in Ottapalam, India,
and Kenya. He has also coordinated and directed a community Coronary Health
Improvement Project and worked as an instructor, counselor, and physician
for the Milwaukee Badger Pathfinder Club.
