Dec. 20, 2017 – With a hearty “Ho, ho ho!”, Santa and
Mrs. Claus delighted residents and visitors when they made grand entrances
during the Southeast Georgia Health System Senior Care Centers’
annual Holiday Tree Lighting in Brunswick and St. Marys. During the festive
celebration, residents and their families and friends sang carols, enjoyed
refreshments and visited with Santa and Mrs. Claus. Entertainment also
included the Golden Isles Strummers at the Senior Care Center-Brunswick,
and carols performed by the Able Heirs, a southern gospel music choir,
at the Senior Care Center-St. Marys.
Santa and Mrs. Claus also brought joy and laughter to the Health System’s
youngest patients during visits to the Miriam & Hugh Nunnally Maternity
Care Center and pediatric unit. Santa and Mrs. Claus posed for photos
with newborns and siblings, listened to children’s Christmas requests
and sang carols. And, of course, wished them all a Merry Christmas!
