Southeast Georgia Health System presented Kayleigh Crews with the 2015
Star of the Year award during the annual Service Awards Banquet, held
on Thursday, May 19, at the Jekyll Island Convention Center. A registrar
in the Camden Campus Admissions department, Crews has been employed with
the Health System since 2009, and received the award for consistently
going beyond her job expectations to meet the needs of patients and visitors.
“We are thrilled to announce Kayleigh as the new Star of the Year.
Her character and work ethic exemplify the Southeast Georgia Health System
values and expectations,” says Howard W. Sepp Jr., FACHE, vice president
and administrator, Camden Campus. “We sincerely appreciate her dedication
to always taking ownership of what needs to be done and doing it well,
and congratulate her on this well-deserved honor.”
The Health System launched the Star of the Year programs in 2010 as part
of the organization’s initiative to recognize team members who exceed
expectations. Health System team members nominate their peers for demonstrating
one or more of the following service excellence standards: accountability,
compassion, dedication, empowerment, initiative, ownership and teamwork
in their interactions with patients, visitors and/or fellow team members.
