Southeast Georgia Health System is pleased to announce the appointment
of Juliette “Judy” Smith-Burris to the Camden Campus Advisory
Committee. She replaces Steve E. Rawl, Sr. who recently retired from the
Committee after serving for more than twenty years.
Smith-Burris has worked as an equal employment opportunity (EEO) specialist
with the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) since 2005. Some
of her work responsibilities include providing reasonable accommodations
for staff and students with disabilities, providing religious accommodations
and promoting workforce diversity.
Smith-Burris earned a bachelor’s degree in social science in 1981.

Weapons Facility, Atlantic (SWFLANT), Kings Bay, Ga. She has received
several honors for her work, including Certificates of Commendation, Outstanding
Performance Appraisals, the Meritorious Civilian Service Award for EEO,
and multiple Performance Awards throughout her career.
“With my career at SWFLANT and FLETC, and experience in developing
creative ideas to solve problems, I look forward to serving our community
and making a positive impact on the Camden Advisory Committee,”
says Smith-Burris.
According to Howard W. Sepp Jr., FACHE, vice president and administrator,
Camden Campus, that feeling is mutual. “We are delighted to have
Judy join the committee and look forward to her insight and contributions
for years to come.”

several
community
and spiritual organizations, including chair of the Planning Commission
