Do you suffer from pain or loss of function in your hip? Do you know that
there can be complications from waiting too long to decide to have a hip
replaced? Do you know the benefits of
robotic assisted
surgery? With people living longer than ever, arthritis of the hip is
becoming more common. The good news is that hip replacements are very
successful surgeries.
Join us for the Lunch and Learn For Your Health lecture at the Golden Isles
YMCA from 12 to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, April 27, as
Denny A. Carter, M.D., board-certified
orthopaedic
surgeon, Summit Sports Medicine & Orthopaedic Surgery, presents “The
Benefits of
MAKOplasty -
Robotic Assisted
Total Hip Arthroplasty.” LongHorn Steakhouse will provide lunch at no charge to attendees.
The lecture will offer information on
degenerative
joint disease, improving surgical outcomes and the lifespan of the implants
used for hip replacement.
The Lunch and Learn For Your Health series takes place on the last Wednesday
of each month at the Golden Isles YMCA located at 144 Scranton Connector,
Brunswick. Seating is limited and pre-registration is required by calling
