October 6, 2015 – Southeast Georgia Health System is pleased to announce
the naming of Sheila Bacon as Star of the Quarter.
Each quarter, Health System team members nominate their peers for performance
that exceeds the Health System’s standards of service excellence:
initiative, dedication, accountability, compassion, ownership, and teamwork.
From the many nominations, one is selected as Star of the Quarter.
Sheila Bacon, a unit coordinator on PCCU and Health System team member
since 1989, is always willing to assist a fellow team member, physician,
patient or family member, never hesitating or thinking twice, and always
doing so with a smile and a positive attitude. Although her first responsibility
is as a unit coordinator, Sheila is also a certified nursing assistant,
and she eagerly steps up to help cover staffing needs, even if it means
staying over after her shift ends. It is obvious that Sheila loves helping people!
“We are very pleased to name Sheila Bacon as Star of the Quarter,”
says Patrick D. Ebri, Ph.D., FACHE, vice president, Human Resources. “Sheila’s
love for helping others exemplifies Southeast Georgia Health System’s
Service Excellence Standards and we congratulate her on this well-deserved
honor.”
