Oct. 28, 2015–With a theme of “Hats Off To Our Volunteers,”
Southeast Georgia Health System
Auxiliaries recently announced
Mozella
“Mo” Rolle as the Brunswick Campus Volunteer of the Quarter
and Carol Kacedon as the Camden Campus Volunteer of the Quarter during
their respective quarterly Auxiliary luncheons.
A member of the Auxiliary since 2013, Rolle volunteers multiple days a
week at the Health System’s Senior Care Center-Brunswick.
“Mo demonstrates the highest level of commitment and compassion
for our residents at the Senior Care Center,” said Kristin Doll,
director, Volunteer Services. “She volunteers several days each
week, rain or shine, and always has a smile or word of encouragement.”
In addition to her activities at the Health System, Rolle also enjoys
walking and volunteering at her church, Thessalonica Missionary Baptist.
Grandmother to seven grandsons, Carol Kacedon has been a Health System
volunteer for
morethan
five years. On Mondays, Kacedon spends her time at the Camden Campus Coastal
Medical Access Project (CMAP) office, while on Wednesdays and Fridays,
she serves at the guest services desk.
“Carol is passionate about access to health care,” said Glenda
Battle, president, Camden Campus Auxiliary. “At both CMAP and the
guest services desk, she is able to use her talents and energy to provide
helpful information about resources available to our community.”
In her spare time, Kacedon also volunteers at the St. Marys Senior Center
and enjoys golf, reading, gardening and spending time with her family.
More than 300 volunteers generously share their time and talents to assist
patients, visitors, and team members at the Southeast Georgia Health System
Brunswick and Camden campuses, as well as the Senior Care Centers in Brunswick
and St. Marys. To find out more about volunteer opportunities, contact
