October 2, 2015 –What causes lung nodules? What are the risk factors?
How do you evaluate lung nodules? According to the American Cancer Society,
lung cancer is the second most common cancer in both men and
women,
and is by far the leading cause of cancer death among both men and women.
In recent years, studies have shown that
a lung
cancer screening can help to increase survival through early detection.
Join us on Tuesday, Oct. 20, as Kevin M. Fussell, M.D.,
pulmonologist
with Southeast Georgia Physician Associates-Pulmonary Medicine, presents
“Understanding Lung Cancer and Lung Nodules.” The lecture
will offer important information on the differences between benign and
malignant lung tumors, early screening benefits, lung cancer risk factors
and much more.
The free lecture will take place 12-1 p.m. at the Southeast Georgia Health
System Camden Campus, Cafeteria Conference Room, 2000 Dan Proctor Drive,
