
May 22, 2015 – This week, Southeast Georgia Health System graduated
its second Leadership College class, a 12-month program designed to provide
health care leadership training and skills for team members with high
potential for advancement.
The program classes included Health Care Finance, Power from the Podium,
Transitioning from Peer to Supervisor, Health Care Quality Improvement,
Communication Skills and more. Additionally, participants engaged in experiential
learning opportunities, including patient care rounding, shadowing a member
of the executive team for a day and attending Hospital Authority meetings.
Southeast Georgia Health System Leadership College is the brainchild of
Gary R. Colberg, FACHE, president & CEO, who said, “I’m
constantly inspired by our team members’ commitment to the future
of our organization and their desire to expand their careers at Southeast
Georgia Health System. We expect great things from this group.”
The Class of 2015 graduates include: Tracey Anderson, M.T.; Lawanna Collins,
