
Jan. 29, 2014 – Southeast Georgia Health System is pleased to announce
the 2015-20106 term Camden Campus Medical Staff officers and leadership.
Christian M. Smith, M.D., chief of staff. A board-certified emergency
medicine physician, Smith previously served as vice chief of staff at
the Camden Campus. Smith completed medical school at the Albany Medical
College of Union University in Albany, N.Y., and the residency program
at Halifax Medical Center in Daytona Beach, Fla.
Steve A. Nickisch, M.D., vice chief of staff. Board certified in obstetrics
and gynecology, he practices at Southeast Georgia Physician Associates-Obstetrics
& Gynecology in St. Marys, a strategic affiliate of Southeast Georgia
Health System. Nickisch completed his medical degree and residency at
the University of New Mexico School of Medicine in Albuquerque.
