February 10, 2015 – What are the symptoms of common shoulder problems?
Do you have persistent pain? Is surgery the only treatment option? The
shoulder is the most flexible joint in the body and one of the most potentially
unstable joints. As a result, it is the site of many common problems.
They include sprains, strains, dislocations, separations, tendinitis,
bursitis, torn rotator cuffs, frozen shoulder, fractures
and
arthritis.
Join us on Wednesday, Feb. 18, as Beau Sasser, M.D.,
orthopaedic
surgeon with Summit Sports Medicine & Orthopaedic Surgery, presents
“Shoulder Aches & Pains: When to See the Doctor.” The
lecture will offer important information on diagnosis and the latest treatment
options for shoulder pain and common shoulder problems.
The free lecture will take place 12-1 p.m. at the Southeast Georgia Health
System Camden Campus, Cafeteria Conference Room, 2000 Dan Proctor Drive,
St. Marys, Ga.
Lecture topics vary each month and a question and answer session is included
at the conclusion of each lecture. A light lunch will be served.
