Dec. 20, 2015– The Southeast Georgia Health System Auxiliary presented
donations to the Health System during their recent holiday luncheons.
The funds were raised through the Gift Shop and Auxiliary fundraising
events held December 2014 through November 2015.
“For the first time ever, the Brunswick Campus Auxiliary is thrilled
to donate $120,000 to the Health System,” said Joyce Toler, president,
Brunswick Campus Auxiliary. “We surpassed our annual goal by 20
percent!”
The Camden Campus Auxiliary presented $25,000 to the Health System during
their recent holiday luncheon on Thursday, Dec. 10. “This year,
our tireless efforts have paid off,” said Glenda Battle, president,
Camden Campus Auxiliary. “It is an honor to make such a meaningful
donation that we know directly impacts patients and their care.”
“Our generous Auxiliary is committed to helping us meet the needs
of our community,” says Michael D. Scherneck, president and CEO,
Southeast Georgia Health System. “Each Auxiliary member makes a
profound difference to every patient, visitor, team member, or fellow
volunteer who walks through our doors. We can’t say ‘thank
you’ enough.”
Auxiliary donations are used for items that benefit patients and in the
past have included waiting room furniture, telemetry equipment, and pediatric
unit artwork.
