August 25, 2015 -- Southeast Georgia Physician Associates-Urology, a strategic
affiliate of Southeast Georgia Health System, announces the opening of
an additional office in St. Marys to serve Camden County residents.
Matthew D. Katz, M.D. and Rudolf G. Nunnemann, M.D., Ph.D. now offer appointments
at their new location at the Health System’s Camden Campus medical
pavilion building. The practice also has offices in Brunswick.
The physicians offer expertise for all manners of urgent and non-urgent
urologic issues, including minimally invasive solutions for conditions
such as enlarged
prostrate
, urinary frequency, urinary incontinence
and
sexual dysfunction.
Katz earned his undergraduate degree from
University
of Arkansas, Fayetteville, Ark. and his medical degree from the University
of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, Little Rock, Ark. Katz completed residencies
in both surgery and urology at the University of New Mexico for Health
Sciences, Albuquerque, N.M. He also completed fellowships in minimally
invasive urologic oncology and robotic/laparoscopy/endourology at the
Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Mo.
Katz’s expertise includes performing complex and minimally-invasive
urologic surgeries. He is fellowship trained in
da Vinci®robotic-assisted surgeries and he has performed hundreds of robotic
prostatectomies, partial nephrectomies
and
radical cystectomies.
Nunnemann earned his medical degree at the Free University of Berlin in
Berlin, Germany. He completed an internship in surgery at the Kreiskrankenhaus
in Diepholz, Germany
and
residencies in urology from the Krankenhaus Am Urban in Berlin, Germany
and the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn. He also completed a residency
in surgery at Queens Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawaii.
