Health System Offers Presentation on Benefits of Tai Chi and Yoga for Cancer Survivors
April 20, 2015– Southeast Georgia Health System will offer an educational
presentation on the positive aspects of including complementary care,
such as Tai Chi and Yoga, in the cancer care experience. The free presentation,
which is open to all cancer survivors, will take place on Tuesday, April
21, 10:30 a.m.-12 p.m., at the Southeast Georgia Health System Brunswick
Campus in the Linda S. Pinson Conference Center, Rooms 1 & 2, 2415
Parkwood Drive, Brunswick.
Presenters include Duane P. Moores, M.D., Southeast Georgia Physician
Associates-Hematology & Oncology; Phil Davis, Ph.D., Tai Chi instructor;
and Bitsy Moores, Yoga instructor. A question and answer session, and
Tai Chi and Yoga demonstrations will be included.
