Health Insurance Coverage Enrollment Assistance Offered During Public Forum in Kingsland
Camden County residents have the opportunity to learn more about the Affordable
Care Act (ACA) and receive assistance with online enrollment in a health
insurance plan during a public forum on Friday, March 7, 12-6 p.m., at
Kingsland First United Methodist, 120 E William Ave., in Kingsland, Ga.
During the forum, individuals and small business owners will receive information
and assistance with applying for health insurance through the marketplace
exchanges created under the ACA. Certified health navigators will help
attendees evaluate their eligibility, inform them of available subsidies,
compare options to identify the plan that best meets their health care
needs and fits their budget, and provide assistance with using the Health
System’s computers to enroll in one of the new marketplace exchange
insurance plans.
Navigators will be available to meet with attendees during a set schedule
of walk-in hours. Information sessions will begin at 12 p.m. and last
for one hour. Sessions will continue each hour, with the final session
beginning at 5 p.m.
To receive enrollment assistance, attendees must bring income verification
and social security numbers for household members.
