can you make healthy changes?
On Tuesday, July 1, Ashlee Revell, ATC, certified athletic trainer with
Southeast Georgia Health System Sports Medicine, will host "Sports
Smart," a question and answer session focusing on "Simple Exercises
to Prevent Shoulder Injuries."
The drop-in event, which takes place 4:30-7:30 p.m. at the Golden Isles
YMCA in the Southeast Georgia Health System Health Information Center,
located at 144 Scranton Connector in Brunswick, is open to the community
and does not require YMCA membership. Participants are welcome to drop
in during the session to learn more about common mechanisms of injuries
to the shoulder and simple exercises you can do anywhere to strengthen
and prevent injuries.
Southeast Georgia Health System Sports Medicine presents the Sports Smart
series the first Tuesday of each month. The presenters and main topics,
which focus on sports health and injury prevention, will vary.
