
Southeast Georgia Health System is pleased to welcome Wanda Moore, R.N.,
BSN, MHA, CNOR as the new director of Surgical Services and Joseph Saunders
Jr. as the new director of Wound Care Services.
As director, Moore is responsible for the Health System’s surgical
services operations on the Brunswick and Camden campuses. Moore joins
the Health System from Sts. Mary & Elizabeth Hospital in Louisville,
Ky., where she served as Executive Director of Surgical Services/Wound
Healing. She has more than 30 years experience and in-depth knowledge
of surgical services operations and management.
Moore earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Spaulding University
in Louisville, Ky., and her Master’s in Health Administration from
Webster University, also in Ky. Moore relocated to the Golden Isles with
her husband, Charlie.
Saunders has extensive experience in pharmaceutical/medical product sales
and physician outreach. He has worked with Astra Zeneca, Teva, Abbott
Laboratories and, most recently, Organogenesis, a leading producer of
regenerative
medical
and skin substitution products used in the wound care industry. He has
served as a member of the United States Coast Guard Reserve since February
of 2010 and is a Navy veteran.
Saunders earned his Bachelors of Arts degree from St. Leo in Savannah,
Ga., and is currently completing his Masters in Business Administration
with a concentration in Healthcare System Improvement from Walden University.
He and his wife, Christina, live in Richmond Hill. They have two children
and are expecting a third later this year.
