Southeast Georgia Health System is pleased to announce the naming of Trina
Kelley, PCA, and Robin Brandon, R.N., as Stars of the Quarter.
Each quarter, Health System team members nominate their peers for performance
that exceeds the Health System’s standards of service excellence:
initiative, dedication, accountability, compassion, ownership, and teamwork.
From the many nominations, only two—one from each campus—are
chosen to be a Star of the Quarter.
Trina Kelley, a patient care assistant in the Emergency Care Center has
been a Health System team member since 2012. According to her peers, "no
task is too big or small for Trina to perform" and she is "a
pleasure to work with and a true asset to the Emergency Care Center."
An outstanding patient advocate, Kelley makes every effort to ensure that
patients and her fellow team members’ needs are met, from going
to the cafeteria to get food for a patient whose tray has been delayed
to personally replenishing linen supplies.
Robin Brandon, a registered nurse in the Maternity Care Center on the Camden
Campus, has been with the Health System since 2001. Through a personal
loss, Brandon has developed a sincere dedication to comforting, supporting
and identifying resources for grieving families who are dealing with outcomes
that are less than perfect. Her connection is so strong that patients
often return to talk with her and tell her how they are progressing.
"We are very pleased to name Trina and Robin Stars of the Quarter,"
says Patrick D. Ebri, Ph.D., FACHE, vice president, Human Resources. "They
consistently make our patients their number one focus and live our values
to make our Health System the region’s health care provider of choice."
