Health System Hosts Medical Plaza Community Open House
Sept. 16, 2013--Southeast Georgia Health System invites the community to
attend the Open House celebration of its new MedicalPlazaon Tuesday, Sept.
24, 2013, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. The MedicalPlaza, home to the new Wolfson
Children’s at Southeast Georgia Health System, is located at 3025
Shrine Rd.in Brunswick.
The drop-in event will feature tours of the facility as well as offer
an opportunity to meet physicians and other medical professionals and
learn about the health care services available in the MedicalPlaza.
Wolfson Children’s at Southeast Georgia Health System is a multispecialty
pediatric center that houses outpatient pediatric cardiology services
provided by the University of Florida College of Medicine--Jacksonville,
along with pediatric rehab services provided by Southeast Georgia Health
System. Information will be available about future pediatric specialties
to be offered at the specialty center.
Attendees will also be able to tour the offices of Marshes Medical Diagnostic
Clinic, Southeast Georgia Physician Associates-Ear, Nose & Throat,
Southeast Georgia Physician Associates-Obstetrics & Gynecology and
the Women’s Health Group of Southeast Georgia. In addition, Health
System outpatient services such as mammography, phlebotomy and DEXA scans
(for bone density testing) are located in the MedicalPlazaand will be
available for tours.
