Sara Spencer Named Camden Campus Star of the Quarter
Southeast Georgia Health System is pleased to announce that Sara Spencer,
R.N., was recently named the Camden Campus Star of the Quarter. Each quarter,
Health System team members nominate their peers for above and beyond performance
that exceeds the Health System’s standards of service excellence.
Spencer, a registered nurse in the Emergency Care Center-Camden, has been
employed with the Health System since 1995. Her fellow team members describe
Sara as someone who consistently goes above and beyond when caring for
patients. Recently, she took the initiative to purchase comfortable clothing
and shoes for a special needs patient.
“Sara went above and beyond to care for a patient experiencing special
circumstances,” says Howard W. Sepp Jr., FACHE, vice president/administrator,
Camden Campus. “Her behavior was not unusual, however, as she always
takes the initiative to identify how she can help patients and her fellow
team members and then she does it. She consistently exemplifies our Service
Excellence standards and is a worthy Star of the Quarter recipient.”
Lisa Dickerson, MBA, BSN, assistant administrator, adds, “We are
very proud to have Sara on our team and pleased to recognize her as our
Star of the Quarter.”
