Lunch and Learn For Your Health Presents "Fact or Fiction: The Truth About Nursing Homes"

Southeast Georgia Health System is teaming up with the Golden Isles YMCA and Olive Garden to provide a free Lunch and Learn series for the community. The series continues Wednesday, May 29, from 12to 1 p.m., with the topic “Fact or Fiction: The Truth About Nursing Homes” presented by Karen Andrews Daniel, MHA, LNHA, administrator, Senior Care Center-Brunswick and Rachel Hall, R.N., MSN, director of nursing, Senior Care Center-Brunswick. Lunch will be provided by Olive Garden at no charge to attendees.

The Lunch and Learn series takes place on the last Wednesday of each month at the Golden Isles YMCA located at 144 ScrantonConnector, Brunswickand will resume in August. Seating is limited and pre-registration is required by calling the YMCA at 912-265-4100. Future topics include shoulder aches and pains.
