Every day there are new discoveries in health care that help us live longer,
healthier lives. Southeast Georgia Health System’s free health education
lectures are designed to raise awareness of these advancements and other
important health topics of interest to the community.
On Thursday, April 11, J. Kevin Brooks, M.D.,
board-certified
orthopaedic
surgeon and member of the Southeast Georgia Health System medical staff,
will present “Aching Joints…Knee and Hip Pain.” The
lecture will offer information on joint pain treatment options.
The free lectures are held from 6-7 p.m. in the C. Paul Scott Polytechnical
Center, Room 434, at Altamaha Technical College, 1777 West Cherry Street, Jesup.
Topics vary each month and include a question and answer session at the
conclusion of each lecture. Light refreshments will be served. To learn
