Free Skin Cancer Screenings Offered at SKINtastic Saturday
Do you have a spot on your skin? If so, it could be melanoma, the most
serious form of skin cancer, and early detection may save your life. Southeast
GeorgiaHealth System will offer a day of free skin and health screenings
at its annual SKINtastic Saturday on June 8, 10a.m.-1 p.m. The event will
take place on the Camden Campus main lobby, 2000 Dan Proctor Drive, St.
Marys, Ga.
In addition to the free screenings by board-certified dermatologists and
plastic surgeons, expert physicians will be on hand to answer skin-related
health care questions. Additionally, free blood pressure, bone density
and blood sugar screenings will be offered.
Participating experts include DiPreta Dermatology, Renue Plastic Surgery,
Southeast Georgia Physician Associates-General Surgery; and Southeast
Georgia Health System’s Breast Cancer Center and Wound Care Center.
No appointments or insurance are necessary for the screenings. For more
