Finding the right health care provider can sometimes be a challenge, especially
for people new to town or who have changed their health insurance provider.
But it’s just gotten easier with the free health care provider referral
line offered by Southeast Georgia Health System.
The toll-free 855-ASK-SGHS (855-275-7447) 24-hour health care provider
referral line allows people to talk to a representative who can answer
questions and help find a Health System provider who matches their needs
and personal requirements, such as specialty, qualifications, location
and accepted insurances.
Other information available to callers includes whether a provider is
board-certified, where they went to school, what languages they speak,
where they’re located and if they’re accepting new patients.
Health System providers range from physician assistants and nurse practitioners
to board-certified physicians and surgeons; specialties range from family
medicine to thoracic surgery, maternity to rheumatology, cancer care to
wound management, and so much more.
The Health System also offers an online directory of health care providers
at sghs.org/providers. Users have the ability to search for providers
by name, specialty, city, or a keyword.
