Amateurs, professional artists, and anyone who has ever entertained thoughts
of being a painter, are all invited to attend a light-hearted evening
of painting and artful cuisine to benefit Southeast Georgia Health System
John J. Hart Cardiac Rehabilitation Center.
Hosted by the Glynn Art Association and Brunswick Junior Woman’s
Club, the “Paint Your Heart Out” party will take place on
Friday, Feb. 8, from 7-9 p.m. at the Glynn Art Association, 529 Beachview
Drive on St. Simons Island.
The painting party will consist of 42 canvases prepared with a paint-by-number
shrimp boat scenic design. Once completed, the individual canvases will
be joined together to create one large mural measuring approximately five
feet wide and six feet high and mounted in the Health System’s John
J. Hart Cardiac Rehabilitation Center.
The paint-by-number canvas was created by Jeff LeMieux, from a photo taken
by Harlan Hambright.
Advance purchase tickets for the painting party are $30 per person; $40
at the door. The evening will include heavy hors d’oeuvres, beer,
wine, and art supplies. Attendees are encouraged to wear their favorite
painting clothes.

Association at 912-638- 8770.
