"Importance of Vaccines in COPD Patients" Topic of Free Health Education Lecture
The community is invited to attend a free health education lecture titled
“The Importance of Vaccines in COPD Patients” on Thursday,
May 9. Presented by Herman Levy, M.D., pulmonologist with Southeast Georgia
Physician Associates-Pulmonary Medicine, the lecture will include information
on how to maintain a healthy lifestyle with COPD.
The free lecture will be held from 6-7 p.m. in the C. Paul Scott Polytechnical
Center, Room 434, at AltamahaTechnicalCollege, 1777 West Cherry Street, Jesup.
Every day there are new discoveries in health care that help us live longer,
healthier lives. Southeast GeorgiaHealth System’s free health education
lectures are designed to raise awareness of these advancements and other
important health topics of interest to the community.
Topics vary each month and a question and answer session will be included
at the conclusion of each lecture. Light refreshments are served.
