BRUNSWICK, Georgia: May 22, 2012 — Southeast Georgia Health System
is pleased to announce that Shawn Crosby, supervisor, Facilities Management
for the Brunswick Campus, has been named the latest Star of the Quarter.
Each quarter, Health System team members nominate a fellow team member
that he or she feels goes above and beyond expectations in meeting the
Health System’s Service Excellence standards.
Shawn consistently takes the initiative to find new and innovative ways
of making improvements,” says Tripp Stephens, manager, Facilities
Management. “He embraces change and isn’t afraid to challenge
the ‘it’s always been this way’ mentality. Shawn finds
ways to get things done when others have claimed the task impossible.
His dedication, service and devotion to the success of the Health System
and the Facilities Department truly make him a worthy recipient of the
Star of the Quarter.” Marjorie A. Mathieu, RPh, MBA, FACHE, vice
president at the Health System, adds, “Shawn is a stellar employee
who makes himself available whenever needed. He is extremely knowledgeable
on all aspects of our physical plant and an asset to the Health System.”
Crosby joined the Health System in 2002. A native of Blackshear, he graduated
from Pierce County High School. He currently lives in Jesup with his wife,
Lollie, and their three children, Chase, JT, and Emilee. When he’s
not coaching Little League Baseball, Crosby enjoys hunting and fishing.
